the answer to nearly everything you posted has been on Obama’s website for months.

for example, the tax brackets have been outlined down to the dollar… if you make $169,480.00 per year or less, you will get a tax break. if you make between that and $250,000.00 per year, your taxes will remain the same. above that, your taxes will go up.

they are saying these things; apparently the news you watch or listen to isn’t covering them.

First of all, there have been references to specific policies in some speeches, but it is a political convention, a TV event, not a policy wonk discussion. You aren’t gonna get very many specific policy recommendations during the Republican National Convention either. However, I am sure that Obama will address some specifics during his speech Thursday night. The convention thus far has mostly been about who Obama is. Thursday I am pretty sure he will give more info about what he intends to do.

Secondly, if you are as curious as you imply that you are, then why haven’t you visited Obama’s web site in order to get detailed information on the policy recommendations and positions of the candidate? There is a great deal of information there. The link is provided below.

The DNC, much like the RNC, are pep rallies man. Nothing more and nothing less over the last 20 years.

now now…. we can’t be asking democrats to be specific, it is against their nature. To ask a direct question (of Obama and or democrats)returns a fatal error system crash.

They haven’t discussed any real issues because they are all still caught up in the euphoria of “change we can believe in”. Unfortunately, Obama and his minions haven’t provided any specificity on what this “change” will mean. So the campaign of “platitudes” will continue unfortunately…

I’m pretty sure they have been addressing these issues, but to be clear, the convention is not a “campaign event”. Their purpose is to a. rally the party behind a common platform and b. nominate a ticket for the general election.

I think because they do not want to expose his socialist liberal agenda. Liberalism almost never wins.
