Will the oldmobile be good for a first time driver?

juliet asked:

I just financed an oldmobile alero 2002. After that I reviewed the consumer reports and now I feel awful :( . I didn’t get enough time to test drive it cause my mom was such a pain in the a##. I do however like the overall look and feel. Is it a really bad car and can it be traded?

You probably won’t be able to trade it. You probably owe more then it is worth. I would see what you could do, but don’t count on it. If it is mechanically sound, then it is a good car. You should pull a CARFAX before buying used cars.

Don’t think there’s much you can do. It is a very sharp looking car, though, and some people don’t have problems with them. You can just hope yours is one of the good ones. Then you can trade it in later on.

*You will enjoy the sound system, though…it’s great.

Big boats are good like the 88 or cutlass before 1970… they are good protection, form road theft etc.
