i cannot understand were you get this stuff,hispanics as far as ive been told have been hit the hardest during this economic down fall. they actually have lost most of there gains over the last few years. usually the first to be let go by employers are the hispanics due to questionable citizenship, and the banking industrie has witness a colossal amount of foreclosures from that group so why is it that you tony can find a bogas article and think its fact?

There are appx 7M illegals in our work force.

Where does that “buying power” come from? From illegal aliens taking jobs that AMERICANS should be doing. The growth is due primarily to the increase in illegal immigration–not a good selling point.
From 2005 Census: “The median income for non-Hispanic white households was $48,977. Median income for Hispanic households was $34,241.” Bear in mind that HISPANIC households also tend to be larger than non Hispanic households and that that income may well be the result of multiple jobs. Furthermore, the rate of Hispanic children living in poverty is rising right along with illegal immigration. Basically, as a group Hispanics have a lot of buying power, but as individuals or households, that doesn’t translate into the kind of income needed for big ticket items. (Hispanics are roughly tied at the moment with African-Americans in terms of buying power, and we all know just how much manufacturers target African-Americans–not.)
“”Still, even as Hispanic buying power overtakes African American buying power at the national level, it is important to recognize that in the majority of states the African American market will continue to be much larger than the Hispanic market,” Humphreys said. “This insight reflects the fact that Hispanics and their buying power are much more geographically concentrated than non-Hispanics or African Americans. Now, as California goes into meltdown, just what do you think is going to happen to “buying power” of Hispanics in “immigrant”-heavy California?

you are using this to further your illegal propaganda when it is false. Use common sense, Many hispanics are legal, they are an asset to this count. Also, how can anyone determine who is buying what. How can they say that hispanics bought this, chinese bought that etc… makes no common sense. Things were bought, were where the largest hispanic population is, does that mean it happened to be illegals who bought it.

Yes, look at their credit scores, how many family in one house, My neighbor have converted a one family home into 6 family units. So they collect rent but never claim it with the IRS, On paper they look poor but they get food stamps, aid to depend children, free breakfast and free lunches, and free medical care.
