Chase is buying up a lot of other credit card companies. I’m sure there’s some re-organizing to standardize terms.

Have you tried calling customer service a second time? Sometimes you get a smarter person and can get an actual answer.

Failing that, your aunt may just have to wait and see.

Pay off the entire balance on the card and do not use it again. As long as the balance is zero, there will be no more finance charges, interest, or minimum payments. Problem solved.

If she needs to use a credit card, have her get one from a more responsive company.

I had same problem with same card, got shuffled from person to person, wound up going in 1 huge circle, think they did it on purpose just to give me a hard time. No advice, it oughta be against the law, no other business could operate this way, fault of our dear Congress in not clamping down. I got similar notice, all payments on time but can’t pay balance off and think there’s a right to know what exactly they are doing. Any lawyers or paralegals here? Advice? I need help about this too. Mine said daily compounding but I couldnt follow their incomprehesable instructions, they made no sense, and the customer service people claaimed they knew nada, just played dumb. Maybe some public complaints on public sites will help get more responses.
