On my itemized deductions line 5 was suppose to be local and state withholdings. HRBlock ended up using my one W2′s wages for that number. Now I owe the government $1385. It is going to create a huge burden on my finances. HRBlock did the amendment for me and requested to corporate that my service fees are refunded, but does the liability go any further? Does anyone know my rights as a consumer when it comes to something like this?
